The Money Queen Reacts to Burglary Incident
A well-known influencer dubbed “The Money Queen” expressed that “karma won” following a burglary at her Bel-Air residence, where the intruders made off with heaps of prop cash intended for a photo shoot.
According to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a burglary in progress at around 1 a.m. on Monday. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived, the culprits had already fled the scene.
The Victim: Amanda Frances
The homeowner is Amanda Frances, a financial influencer, author, and online course creator focused on empowering women to achieve wealth. In a statement shared with The Times, Frances revealed that although the burglars rummaged through her closet and caused damage, they abandoned most of their loot when confronted by a neighbor’s security guard, prioritizing the fake cash.
Frances noted, “The thieves left behind several designer handbags in the street, which the police were able to retrieve. In their hasty escape, they also scattered some of the fake cash along the road. I believe they managed to steal a few purses, a ring, and a necklace, but they discarded most valuable items.”

Prop Money for Promotion
The fake cash was part of a recent promotional photo shoot for Frances’ digital course titled “Money Mentality Makeover.” Previously, Frances used real money for such shoots, but opted for prop money this time at her photographer’s suggestion for safety reasons.
Though relieved that the cash was not real, Frances admitted the experience left her feeling shaken. “I have worked tirelessly throughout my life to build what I have and now own this home in Bel-Air. It’s disheartening and upsetting that the city I’ve aspired to live in since my childhood in a small town in Oklahoma has become an unsafe environment for families like mine,” she lamented.
A Legacy of Empowerment
Frances established her online education and coaching company aimed at empowering women in financial literacy in 2011. Today, she boasts a following of over half a million on Instagram, where she identifies as a “self-made multimillionaire” and a relentless achiever of ambitious goals.
In an Instagram message to The Times, she mentioned having purchased her home from notable figures Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, who raised their four children there. Richards, a prominent figure on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and Umansky, recognized for his real estate expertise and reality show, initially made the house a family-friendly home. “They raised their kids here, and now I have my own four children. This was supposed to be a place for family, but now we no longer feel safe,” Frances added.
