This weekend in Atlantic Hockey, three exciting conference matchups are on the schedule as Lindenwood travels to face RIT, Delaware heads to Mercyhurst, and No. 6 Penn State takes on Robert Morris. Notably, Syracuse will have a week off from competition.
RIT’s Power Play Dominance
The RIT Tigers have made significant strides in special teams, leading the NCAA with 13 power-play goals. Their success rate is an impressive 32.5%, achieving this from 40 opportunities. Throughout their first ten games, RIT has scored a total of 29 goals.
Riley Gramlich has been particularly important, leading the team with three power-play goals. In total, nine different Tigers have contributed to man-advantage scores. The team boasts a record of 5-2-0 when scoring at least once on the power play, in stark contrast to their 0-3-0 record without.
RIT’s most recent match saw them net six goals against Post on September 27, and they look to maintain their momentum with two games against Lindenwood this weekend. The first game is scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m. EDT, followed by a rematch on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Delaware’s Inaugural Road Challenge
The Delaware Blue Hens are set to embark on their first road journey of the season as they face Mercyhurst. Having played ten games, including six in Atlantic Hockey, this road trip marks a significant milestone in their inaugural season.
Delaware will be looking to improve on a challenging start, as they suffered two heavy defeats to Robert Morris last weekend, with both games ending 5-0. Now, they will have ten of their next twelve games away from home, with their only home series against Lindenwood on November 14-15.
Key Highlights in Women’s Hockey
In the latest conference news, Syracuse fell to No. 4 Cornell with a score of 5-0, leaving them at 5-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play. They will travel to Lindenwood next weekend.
Robert Morris has also seen recognition this week, with Jessica MacKinnon named Player of the Week for forwards, while Kaitlyn Schooley earned the defenseman accolade. Ava Drabyk of Syracuse received the goaltender honor, and Penn State’s rookie Matilde Fantin round out the selections.
Noteworthy individual performances include Delaware’s Lexie Lonask, who leads the nation with 37 blocked shots, and Mercyhurst goaltender Magdalena Luggin, who is ranked second among NCAA goalies with 273 saves and holds a .916 save percentage.
Penn State continues to dominate the AHA standings, boasting an impressive 6-0-0 record in conference play and a perfect overall record of 10-0-0 after sweeping Lindenwood last weekend with scores of 6-1 and 5-0. Captain Tessa Janecke contributed significantly to this success with four points in their recent matches, bringing her total to 14 points for the season, which is tied for the conference lead.
