Bhubaneswar: Eligible beneficiaries who have so far been excluded from the Subhadra Yojana will soon receive their financial support. On April 22 and April 23, a portion of the 170,000 eligible beneficiaries will be granted Subhadra funds.
This distribution marks the third installment of the initiative. Following the release of this installment, applications for the Subhadra Yojana will reopen for individuals who have recently turned 21. This announcement was made by Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida on Monday.
As of Sunday, there have been 170,000 new applications submitted by those seeking eligibility. Qualified applicants among this group will soon receive Subhadra funding.
Survey to Include All Eligible Beneficiaries
In an effort to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are considered, the Government of Odisha conducted a door-to-door survey to identify individuals who have been left out of the Subhadra scheme. The application process for new entrants closed on March 31, prompting officials to engage in the outreach initiative.
