Elle Eisele and Steele Idelson, both 2023 graduates of Canterbury School in Fort Myers, were caught in the chaos early Wednesday morning.

In addition to the truck attack, the assailant, later identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, opened fire on law enforcement officers, injuring two in the process.
