GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida’s Head Women’s Tennis Coach, Per Nilsson, has announced an exciting addition to the Gators’ roster for the 2026 season, with three internationally recognized junior tennis players set to join the team: Brooke Black, Capucine Jauffret, and Allegra Korpanec Davies.
“We can’t wait to work with Brooke, Capucine and Allegra,” stated Coach Nilsson. “All three of them want to improve and be part of something special at Florida. They bring a lot of experience on court, but our expectation is for them to grow and for us to help them reach a very high level. Lots of fun personalities, and we are excited for everyone to get started.”
Brooke Black
Brooke Black, who hails from the United Kingdom, is currently attending Teddington School. She will enroll at the University of Florida in spring 2026 and will start competing right away.

Black comes from a family of accomplished players, with her father, Wayne, her uncle Byron, and her aunt Cara all celebrated for their doubles success in professional grand slam tournaments. Furthermore, her mother, Irina, achieved a high of No. 85 in WTA singles and No. 44 in doubles.
Capucine Jauffret
Next is Capucine Jauffret from Wilmington, Delaware, a standout product of ICL Academy. This blue-chip recruit has surged through the ranks to be recognized as one of the top incoming athletes, having been ranked as high as fourth in the U.S.

Adding to her impressive lineage, Jauffret’s grandfather holds the record for appearances on the France Davis Cup team, with a remarkable 35 matches played between 1964 and 1978.

Finally, Allegra Korpanec Davies, who was home-schooled in the UK, is also set to join the Gators in fall 2026.
