NCAA DIII Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships Recap
NEWVILLE, Pa. — The Dickinson women’s cross country team concluded their 2025 season by hosting the NCAA DIII Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Big Spring High School. This event showcased numerous talented athletes, with Dickinson’s own Liza Barbash delivering a standout performance.
Top Performers for Dickinson
Liza Barbash, a sophomore, led the Red Devils with an impressive 19th place finish, clocking in at 22:23.60. Despite her strong effort, she narrowly missed qualifying for the National Championship by mere seconds, adding a bittersweet element to her performance.
Following Barbash was junior Meghan Higgins-Haas, who finished 29th with a time of 22:44.51. Other notable performances from the Dickinson team included:

Overall Championship Results
The competition was fierce, with conference rival Johns Hopkins taking the top spot and securing three finishes within the top ten. Carnegie Mellon secured second place overall, with senior Chloe Bonson finishing as the individual champion of the event.
