Florida Gulf Coast University Women’s Basketball Announces 2025-26 Nonconference Schedule
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) Women’s Basketball has unveiled an exciting nonconference schedule for the 2025-26 season, featuring a mix of formidable opponents. Under the guidance of first-year head coach Raina Harmon, the Eagles will play host to national powerhouses like Indiana University and the University of South Carolina at their home venue in Fort Myers, while also traveling to Las Vegas for a matchup against perennial contender Stanford University in the Resorts World Las Vegas Classic.
“Our program has a proud history of competing with the best, and we’re excited to keep building on that tradition. This year’s slate includes NCAA Tournament teams, strong mid-major programs, and Power Four matchups with Indiana and South Carolina,” said Harmon. “It’s a great showcase of the level of basketball we’re competing at and an incredible opportunity for our community to experience it firsthand.”
Season Kickoff and Notable Games
The Eagles’ nonconference action will commence at home on November 8 with a game against Davidson, followed by an exciting local showdown against Ave Maria. After facing George Mason on the road, FGCU will gear up for a thrilling home game against Indiana on November 25.
The season continues with a trip to Las Vegas for consecutive games against Stanford on November 28 and Troy on November 29, allowing the Eagles to demonstrate their talent on a national stage.
One of the highlights of the nonconference schedule will take place on December 20, as FGCU hosts the highly anticipated game against South Carolina at 2 p.m., marking a significant event in the program’s history.
