From late November to early December, our community is invited to join an essential effort to foster change and combat violence against women.
16 Days of Action in Western Australia
The annual campaign known as 16 Days in WA – Stop Violence Against Women will run from 25 November, recognized globally as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, until 10 December, which is celebrated as Human Rights Day.
Inspiration from Global Activism
This campaign draws its strength from the worldwide movement for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence, aimed at transforming the cultural norms and attitudes that contribute to violence against women and their children.
2024 Campaign Theme: Your Role Matters
This year, the theme of the campaign is Stopping Family and Domestic Violence: Play your part, highlighting the importance of individual participation in creating a safer environment for women.
