2025 Women’s College World Series: Tournament Overview and Schedule
The 2025 Women’s College World Series (WCWS) has officially commenced, with the selection of 64 teams ready to compete in this prestigious NCAA softball tournament. Leading the pack is the No. 1 seed, Texas A&M, who will host Saint Francis in College Station. Other top seeds include Oklahoma at No. 2 and Florida at No. 3.
Conference Representation
This year marks a historic moment as the Southeastern Conference (SEC) claims nine regional hosts and 14 teams in the tournament, the highest number for any conference in tournament history. The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) follows closely, achieving a record of nine teams in the tournament, including three regional hosts.
