Have you ever found yourself confused about menopause, perhaps encountering conflicting advice? Here’s your chance to clarify those questions.
We invite you to participate in a special Q&A session where you can engage with two esteemed experts in menopause management: Dr. John Eden and Dr. Amanda Beech.
Meet Our Experts
Dr. John Eden (MB BS MD RCOG RANZCOG CREI) is renowned in the field of reproductive endocrinology and gynecology. He serves as a Conjoint Associate Professor at the School of Clinical Medicine at UNSW and leads the Menopause Unit at the Royal Hospital for Women. Dr. Eden’s clinical interests include managing menopause after breast cancer, early menopause, and hormonal mood disorders.
Dr. Amanda Beech (FRACP MBBS (Hons) PHED BSc) is a Women’s Health Endocrinologist affiliated with the Royal Hospital for Women, where she also holds the position of President of the International Society of Obstetric Medicine. With a wide-ranging expertise in women’s health across various life stages, her work encompasses preconception counseling through to menopause and its associated health concerns.
This session will be moderated by Cathy Brown, the Director of Diversity & Inclusion, offering a platform for evidence-based insights and practical advice.

Location: Health Translation Hub, Ground Floor Seminar Rooms 1 & 2, Corner of Botany and High Streets. The event will also be available via livestream.

Understanding 360Health: Interactive Webcast with UniSuper
Another highlight is the interactive Understanding 360Health webcast presented by UniSuper. This session welcomes everyone, members and non-members alike, to discover available health services.
From 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM on Thursday, 30 October, UniSuper’s Partnership Manager, Julianne Coleman, will delve into:
- The 360Health service offerings
- How to get started with the platform
- Details on available virtual care services, including:
- Diet, fitness, and recovery
- Mental health support
- Medical services related to menopause
- Support for individuals under 18
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation on Teams.
