The NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships for 2025 are set to occur from May 30 to June 1 in West Windsor, New Jersey. Notably, the finals for the Division III Championship will take place on Saturday, May 31.
Qualification for the NCAA Division III Women’s Rowing Championship includes a system for automatic qualifiers (AQs), which are awarded to four conference champions under ‘Pool A.’ Additionally, four teams will be selected from ‘Pool B/C’ after the regular season concludes.
According to the 2025 NCAA Pre-Championships Manual for DIII rowing, ‘Pool B/C’ comprises independent teams, institutions from conferences that do not meet automatic-qualification criteria, and ‘Pool A’ institutions that do not secure their conference’s AQ. The selection process ensures representation from all four DIII rowing regions: Mid-Atlantic, New England, New York, and Pacific. At least one team from each region must qualify, either as an AQ or as the highest-ranked team from that area.
A comprehensive list of qualifying teams is available on page 20 of the Pre-Championships Manual.
The complete eight-team field will be revealed on May 13 at 4:30 PM EST. More details on the Championship Selection Show can be found through the NCAA’s official channels.
