SAVANNAH, Ga. – The 2025 NAIA Women’s Lacrosse National Championship is set to take place at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Georgia, gathering eight competing teams vying for the coveted title. The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, April 30, at 9 a.m. ET, featuring four exhilarating quarterfinal matches. This championship event marks the fifth consecutive year of women’s lacrosse as an NAIA sport.

This year’s championship field comprises seasoned participants, all of whom have previously qualified for the national tournament. Among the eight teams are Keiser University (Fla.), Benedictine College (Kan.), SCAD Savannah (Ga.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Reinhardt University (Ga.), and Lawrence Tech (Mich.). Missouri Baptist University makes their return to the tournament for the third time, and Life University (Ga.) secured their spot with an automatic bid from the Sun Conference after defeating previous national qualifiers during the conference tournament held at Memorial Stadium recently.
The competition promises to be intense, with a combined record of 107 wins against just 29 losses, translating to a notable winning percentage of 78.7%. Leading the way is Benedictine College, boasting an impeccable 18-0 record, while SCAD Savannah closely follows with an impressive 15-1 record.
Conference Representation
The teams represent four different conferences: Appalachian, Heart, Sun, and Wolverine-Hoosier. The Sun Conference is particularly well-represented, with three teams—Keiser, SCAD, and Life—making the trip to Savannah. The Appalachian Conference is represented by Cumberlands and Reinhardt, while Benedictine and Missouri Baptist hail from the Heart Conference.
Travel Distances
Teams traveling to Memorial Stadium this year face varying distances, with Reinhardt University needing to cover 1,120 miles, followed by Lawrence Tech at 894 miles. SCAD Savannah, being just 8.2 miles from the stadium, has the shortest journey.
