THA to Host Women’s Only Sitting for International Women’s Day
The Tobago House of Assembly (THA) is organizing a special sitting exclusively for women in honor of International Women’s Day next month.
Speaker Opportunities for Women and Girls
Women and girls aged 15 and above are invited to apply as one of the 22 speakers for this important event.
Details of the Debate
The debate is scheduled for 10 am on March 6 at the Assembly Chamber. This year’s theme is “Her Health, Her Right: Advocating for Better Healthcare Access for Women and Girls in Tobago,” emphasizing the vital issues surrounding women’s health.
Comprehensive Training for Participants
Participants will undergo training covering Parliamentary Procedures, Debating Techniques, Dress Code and Etiquette, Public Speaking, and Technical Procedures.
Expert Guidance on Women’s Health
Additionally, attendees will have the chance to learn from subject matter experts in women’s health, ensuring that their contributions are informed and impactful.
Training Schedule
Training sessions will commence on Tuesday, February 11, at 4:30 pm.
