In honor of National Smart & Sexy Day and Women’s History Month, women throughout the Philadelphia area are invited to receive complimentary Smart & Sexy bras and a selection of professional or casual clothing.
On Thursday, March 27, The Wardrobe will host a series of Open Wardrobe education and clothing events at five locations: Philadelphia, Upper Darby, Chester, Exton, and Kennett Square. Sponsored by National Smart & Sexy Day and the Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits (ACDN), these gatherings celebrate Women’s History Month by offering essential resources and support to women in the community.
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a free bra fitting, receive a Smart & Sexy bra, and select professional or casual attire. Certain locations will also host special seminars. Women are encouraged to RSVP online to reserve their spot.
This year’s theme, “The Power of And,” celebrates the limitless potential of women, recognizing their roles as leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, caregivers, creators, and change-makers—all without boundaries.
Seminars
The “Power of And” Panel Discussion is set to take place at the Philadelphia location (413 N. 4th Street) on Thursday, March 27, at 5 p.m. This insightful discussion will delve into the complexities of identity and confidence in today’s world. Featuring a diverse panel of artists, community directors, and advocacy leaders, the session aims to inspire a movement exploring the evolution of womanhood and the cost of authenticity.
The “Your Wallet 101” seminar will occur at Exton Square Mall (2nd floor near Boscov’s) on the same day at 10 a.m. This financial empowerment workshop, led by Brett Goldman, will address crucial topics such as managing credit, budgeting, insurance, and taxation. This session is geared towards women aiming to build financial confidence and practical skills for effective money management.
Dress for Success
Entering its 30th year, The Wardrobe is dedicated to alleviating clothing insecurity, empowering individuals for success, and reducing fashion waste.
Whether you need an outfit for work or daily life, or guidance to advance your career, The Wardrobe offers free resources and support. Each year, this nonprofit assists approximately 10,000 individuals by providing clothing, advice, and tools essential for achieving independence and stability.

The Wardrobe also provides a Wings for Success education program, offering personalized coaching and workshops designed to empower women in achieving both personal and professional aspirations.
The Wardrobe welcomes everyone to shop and offers free clothing to those in need. Donations are always appreciated. The facility operates Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more details, please visit careerwardrobe.org.
