The 8th Annual Central Valley Brewfest is set to take place at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, with thousands of beer enthusiasts expected to attend. The festival promises a vibrant celebration of the craft beer scene, showcasing a diverse selection of brews and entertainment.
Special Collaboration Brew
One of the highlights of this year’s event is a unique beer produced through a collaboration among the Pink Boots Society, Dying Breed Brewing, Last Call Brewing, and festival founder Veronica Camp. This exclusive brew will be unveiled during the VIP hour of the festival, emphasizing the role of women in the brewing industry.
A Commitment to Women in Brewing
The collaboration aligns with the national Pink Boots Inc. initiative, which aims to support women in the beverage sector through educational programs and career advancement opportunities. Notably, the hops for this year’s brew have been sourced from women hop farmers through Yakima Chief Hops, further highlighting female contributions throughout the brewing process.
Veronica Camp’s Vision
Veronica Camp expressed her pride in being part of this initiative, stating, “As a female-owned festival, I’m honored to participate in an initiative that uplifts and supports women in brewing. Being part of the brewing process alongside these talented women and incredible local breweries makes this beer even more special. It’s a true representation of the dedication and passion women bring to the craft beer industry, from farm to glass.”
