Event Overview
On World Health Day, 7 April 2025, a prominent advocacy event will highlight the strides and obstacles in maternal and newborn health. It will delve into new data and its implications, while also providing insight into opportunities to enhance survival rates. The focus will be on the actions countries are taking to safeguard the health of women and newborns, especially through the Every Woman Every Newborn Everywhere (EWENE) initiative, which is instrumental in promoting progress at the country level.
We invite global health leaders, policymakers, advocates, and frontline healthcare providers to engage in meaningful discourse on ensuring that every woman and every newborn has the chance for a healthy start and a promising future.
