National Championship Preview
WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg women’s wrestling team is gearing up for the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships, scheduled for Friday, March 7, to Saturday, March 8, at the Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa. This prestigious event will feature 320 talented female wrestlers competing for the coveted title of National Champion.

Showcasing the Championship Quarterfinals along with the 2nd and 3rd Wrestlebacks.
Saturday
Session 3 – 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Highlighting the Championship Semifinals, 4th and 5th Wrestlebacks, Consolation Semifinals, and the placement matches for 3rd, 5th, and 7th places.

Competition Highlights
This season, North Central and Iowa lead with 15 national qualifiers. McKendree, Presbyterian, and Sacred Heart each follow closely with 14 qualifiers. East Stroudsburg, Grand Valley State, and King have qualified 11 wrestlers.
Luedtke and Kelly have been competing for the record in falls, with Kelly setting the mark last season at 13. Rule set the seasonal record last year with 23 tech falls is on track to break it again. She also recorded 30 wins last season, with Ortiz and Chababo trailing with 25 wins heading into this championship.
