Celebrating the Spirit of Women Across Mexico
Since 2018, photographer Mahé Elipe has been capturing the diverse experiences of women throughout Mexico as part of her impactful project, Sembrando Luchas (Those Who Sow the Seeds of Struggle). This initiative seeks to shine a light on the lives and challenges faced by women of all ages, showcasing their resilience and strength.
Documenting Commitment and Struggle
Elipe emphasizes the importance of this project, stating, “The need to delve deeper arises from the desire to account for the commitment of Mexican women in all social struggles, those that generate an impact and become a source of inspiration for all others.” Through her lens, she invites viewers to witness the unwavering commitment of women who engage in social justice and advocacy.
