Summer Health Initiative for Postmenopausal Women at TUS Athlone
Program Overview
This summer, the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Athlone is inviting postmenopausal women in Westmeath to attend an important health initiative aimed at improving their overall well-being. The program consists of health and fitness testing sessions scheduled throughout July and August.
Session Details
The sessions, lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, will take place every Tuesday and Thursday. Participants will have the opportunity to assess both their physical and mental health, providing valuable insights into improving their lifestyle.
Objectives of the Study
The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance health outcomes for postmenopausal women while encouraging active participation in physical activities. The study is part of ongoing research led by TUS Athlone’s Department of Sport and Health Sciences.
