2025 CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Updates

Acknowledgments and Performance Highlights

In the latest round of CUNY Athletic Conference women’s cross country events, standout performances were noted during the NJIT Invitational held on October 11.

Runner of the Week

Shannon Ferri from Hunter College has been named the CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. The senior from Cold Spring, N.Y., achieved an impressive 5K time of 19:22.4, securing an 11th place finish overall.

Rookie of the Week

Lily Zuss, a freshman representing Brooklyn College, earned the title of Rookie of the Week. Zuss completed the Open Race at the NJIT Invitational with a time of 20:57.3, placing 11th and ranking as the sixth collegiate runner in the event.

Honorable Mention

Paz Moran from Baruch College received an Honorable Mention after finishing in 20th place at the NJIT Invitational with a time of 19:53.2.

  • Thursday, October 16: Medgar Evers participates in the Lincoln (Pa.) Championship Tune-Up
  • Saturday, October 18: Hunter, Lehman, Baruch, and CCNY compete at the St. Joseph’s (L.I.) Invitational
  • Sunday, October 19: Medgar Evers and York partake in the Mount Saint Mary Fall Festival

Championship Information

The 2025 CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Championship is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, at Van Cortlandt Park, commencing at 9:30 AM.
