Networking Opportunity for Women Entrepreneurs in Marquette
On Thursday morning, a gathering of entrepreneurial women took place in Marquette, Michigan, as part of Innovate Marquette’s quarterly event, Coffee and Conversation. The initiative offers a platform for women business owners to connect and exchange valuable resources in a supportive environment.
The turnout was commendable, especially for an early start at 8 a.m. Attendees convened at Knot Work Studio, enjoying a complimentary coffee while engaging in discussions before proceeding with their workday.
Aubry Healy, the Outreach & Engagement Manager at Innovate Marquette, highlighted the importance of fostering a space where women can candidly discuss the unique challenges associated with entrepreneurship. “Entrepreneurship and business ownership can be hard. And to know that you have other women who are going through the same things and can support you is really helpful,” Healy stated. “So, I’m really passionate about creating that space for women here in Marquette.”
Healy also hinted at more events focused on Women in Entrepreneurship scheduled for the upcoming months, emphasizing the continuous effort to empower women in the business sector.
