EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University (ESU) athletic department is excited to announce the third annual Salute to Women’s Sports event, commemorating National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). This celebration is set for Saturday, February 15, at Koehler Fieldhouse. The festivities will coincide with a women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader against Shippensburg, beginning at 1 p.m. for the women and 3 p.m. for the men.
This year’s event holds special significance as it marks the 30th anniversary of the remarkable 1994-95 PSAC Champion and NCAA Tournament Warriors women’s basketball team. Attendees are encouraged to don pink attire, in support of the program’s Play4Kay game which promotes breast cancer awareness.
