Academic Recognition for Women’s Bowling Team
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The University of Indianapolis (UIndy) women’s bowling team has received notable recognition in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Scholar announcement. This accolade marks a successful conclusion to the team’s inaugural season.
Among nearly 400 student-athletes honored, five members of the Greyhounds achieved a distinguished grade point average (GPA) of 3.4 or higher throughout the academic year. The students recognized for their academic excellence are:
- Abigail Hopkins
- Elizabeth Estes
- Emily Heldman
- Gracie Tharp
- Ebony Ward
In addition to individual achievements, the UIndy bowling program earned the NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team award, celebrating a collective GPA of 3.553 for the year 2024-25.
