Ramola Motwani – Chairwoman at Merrimac Ventures

On September 5, 2025, the Commercial Real Estate Women of Miami (CREW Miami) will host a Breakfast Fireside Chat featuring Ramola Motwani, an influential leader in the commercial real estate sector and Chairwoman of Merrimac Ventures. Scheduled from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., the event will take place at the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden in Coconut Grove.

About Ramola Motwani

Ramola Motwani’s career epitomizes innovation and resilience. Beginning with the management of family-owned motels, she has since transformed her efforts into groundbreaking projects, including the Miami Worldcenter and several luxury waterfront developments across Broward County. Her leadership illustrates the pivotal role women play in evolving South Florida’s hospitality and tourism landscapes.

“Ramola Motwani’s journey reflects both perseverance and possibility,” remarked Josie Legido Correa, Director of Business Development at JWR Construction Services and the 2025 Board President of CREW Miami. “Her leadership in hospitality and development, as well as her dedication to mentoring future leaders, serves as an inspiration to women in our industry.”

The breakfast event will focus on the theme “Breaking Barriers: Ramola Motwani’s Journey in Real Estate Innovation,” highlighting her impressive track record in transforming Broward County’s skyline with various mixed-use, residential, and retail projects. Under her guidance, Merrimac Ventures has expanded significantly, from local holdings to a national presence, showcasing a blend of innovative design and meaningful community impact.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Motwani is widely recognized for her philanthropic contributions. Through the Motwani Academy at Broward College, she plays a crucial role in promoting education and workforce development, providing scholarships, training, and mentorship to aspiring professionals in hospitality and tourism.
