Bre Tiesi Discusses Her Unique Relationship with Nick Cannon
Bre Tiesi is sharing insights about her unconventional relationship with Nick Cannon, who divides his time among four other women, each of whom has children with the well-known host of The Masked Singer.
Embracing Non-Monogamy
In the latest episode of Paul C. Brunson’s podcast, We Need to Talk, Tiesi elaborated on the reasons why non-monogamy works for both her and Cannon, with whom she co-parents their 2-year-old son, Legendary Love. “It’s just so healthy and normal—people misunderstand it due to various influences, but I choose not to get caught up in external factors,” she stated confidently. “The kids are always a part of my life, and that’s where I set my boundaries.”
Understanding Nick Cannon’s Lifestyle
Tiesi acknowledged Cannon’s well-known reputation. “Nick’s always been a playboy, and everyone knows that,” she said with candor.
Cannon’s Expanding Family
Notably, Cannon is a father to 12 children with five different women, including Tiesi. His children include twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey, as well as three kids—Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah—with Brittany Bell. He is also a father to Zion Mixolydian, Zillion Heir, and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa and has welcomed Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole and Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. Tragically, Cannon and Scott lost their son Zen to brain cancer just five months after his birth in 2021.
Finding Security in Her Relationship
Discussing how she navigates Cannon’s relationships with the other women, Tiesi expressed that she doesn’t feel threatened. “I understand my relationship and the unique bond we share,” she explained to Brunson. “I have a positive rapport with most of the other mothers. While emotions can be complex, I can’t control how other people feel.”
Dealing with Moments of Jealousy
Tiesi also opened up about her closest experiences with jealousy. “Holidays can be tough; I sometimes wonder if he could take our son Legend on trips with him,” she remarked. “It’s not jealousy in the traditional sense; I simply want him to cultivate relationships with his siblings.”
Choosing to Focus on Family
Although Cannon maintains relationships with other women, Tiesi clarified her current dating stance. “It’s not that I can’t or won’t date anyone else; it’s simply a personal choice. I am content in my relationship and happy with our family dynamic right now,” she shared.
