UTSA opened the scoring with a goal from Michelle Polo in the 31st minute. This goal was assisted by teammates Bri Carrigan and Ava Jackon, giving the Roadrunners a pivotal 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
In the second half, Aaliyaiah Durden extended UTSA’s lead to 2-0 in the 57th minute, finding the net with a well-placed shot following Leah Varela’s assist.
