CHESTNUT HILL, MA. – In an exciting matchup on Thursday night, the Vermont Catamounts took an early lead against #15 Boston College with a powerplay goal just 5:24 into the first period, courtesy of Ashley Kokavec and Lara Beecher. However, seven consecutive goals from various Boston College players ultimately led to a decisive 7-1 victory for the Eagles.

Game Recap
The contest started with Vermont capitalizing on their first powerplay opportunity, as Kokavec carried the puck up the ice before passing to Beecher, who quickly found the bottom left corner of the net, scoring her sixth goal in her 100th career game.
Boston College responded, with Jade Arnone striking back at 14:14 in the first period, her shot deflecting off Gaby Roy to even the score at 1-1.
Just 26 seconds into the second period, Arnone scored again, bringing the Eagles ahead 2-1. Olivia Maffeo and Katie Pyne followed suit, increasing the lead with two more goals during the second period. By the end of the second frame, Boston College was firmly in control at 5-1.
In the final period, the Eagles continued their assault, adding two more goals to seal the game with a 7-1 scoreline.

- Beecher celebrated her 100th game with a powerplay goal, marking her sixth goal of the season.
- Kokavec contributed with an assist and a team-high four shots on goal, reaching a new career high of 12 points this season.
