The Junior League of Roanoke Valley (JLRV) is excited to announce its upcoming event for 2025, titled Amplify Women: Voices in Community Leadership. This conference, open to the public, aims to highlight the significance of volunteerism and the transformational effects of leadership through service.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 3, the event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Roanoke Higher Education Center. It promises to engage individuals dedicated to civic participation, leadership development, and community enhancement.

This year, JLRV will have the honor of hosting influential speakers, including:

- Valmarie Turner, City Manager of the City of Roanoke
