AI’s Impact on Women’s Health: Covera Health’s Upcoming Forum

NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2025 — Covera Health is set to host its next Quality Rounds, a virtual forum series dedicated to enhancing healthcare quality.

Event Overview

The upcoming session, titled “Will AI Transform the Future of Women’s Health?”, aims to delve into practical applications of artificial intelligence in the early detection of critical health issues, including:

  • Breast cancer
  • Cardiovascular risk
  • Bone health

Scheduled for November 14, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. ET, this 45-minute virtual event is free to attend, but registration is required.

Session Highlights

During the forum, participants can expect to learn how AI tools are currently used in the medical field, focusing on:

  • Evaluating cardiovascular risk through existing mammogram and chest CT screenings.
  • Identifying women at increased risk for cancer despite a negative screening mammogram.
  • Detecting early signs of bone disease to preempt severe health consequences.

The session will feature a discussion moderated by Elizabeth Mitchell, President and CEO of the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH), along with three established clinical experts: Dr. Phoebe Freer specializing in breast imaging, Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum in cardiology, and Dr. Maryam Lustberg in oncology.

Goals and Objectives

Ron Vianu, CEO of Covera Health, emphasized the importance of this forum in disseminating valuable advancements: “These are tools already being used across medicine today, helping detect disease earlier and improve patient outcomes.” The discussion aims to enhance understanding and accessibility of these innovations for those in positions to effect change.

Mitchell also remarked, “Employers and purchasers are looking for meaningful advances that improve quality, equity, and outcomes.” The session’s objective is to showcase where AI is in effect making significant contributions and explore collaborative efforts to broaden its reach.
