SULLIVAN COUNTY, Mo. — The Northeast Missouri Women in Agriculture Workshop is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 5, at Wildflower Grove in Greencastle, commencing at 9:15 a.m.
This workshop aims to address critical topics relevant to women in agriculture, including:
- Estate Planning
- Financial Preparedness
- Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture
- Missouri Beef Forecast
- Plant Diagnostics
Jennifer Schutter with MU Extension stated, “That’s what’s good about this program is that for years we’ve addressed the challenges faced by women trying to run a farm by themselves or with their grown children.”
Schutter emphasized that the workshop is designed to empower women who are navigating significant changes in their lives, particularly those managing agricultural responsibilities.
Registration for the event closes on Friday, October 31, at midnight, with a nominal fee of $20, which includes lunch.
