Women’s Track and Field Season Overview
The FIU women’s team is set to participate in both the indoor and outdoor seasons, competing in a total of 17 events. Highlighted fixtures include the Conference USA (CUSA) Championships and NCAA Championships for both seasons.
Indoor Competition Schedule
In 2025, the women will represent FIU at all major indoor events, traveling to prestigious locations such as Gainesville on two occasions (January 17 and January 24-25), Rutgers/New York (January 31), and Vanderbilt (February 14-15). These outings are strategically planned to prepare the team for the upcoming championship seasons, starting with the CUSA Indoor Championships from February 28 to March 1 in Lynchburg, Virginia, followed by the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 14-15 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Outdoor Season Kickoff

The schedule for the men aligns with the women’s calendar, featuring competitions at locations including Texas (March 26-29), Florida (April 4-5), Virginia (April 18-19), UCF (April 25-26), and UNF (May 2-3). This coordinated effort aims to build momentum toward the CUSA Outdoor Championships, which will take place from May 16-18 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
