The 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, marking the 16th occasion this venue has hosted the event.

Selection Process for the Championships
The selection for the championship field will be announced on June 3, 2025. Here’s how the qualification process unfolds:
- Qualifying performances may commence from March 1, with the window closing for non-conference championship meets by May 18 and for conference meets on May 19.
- Accepted athletes for the first rounds will be disclosed on May 22.
Championship Participants: Athletes are selected by the NCAA Division I Track and Field and Cross Country Committee, with the top 48 athletes for individual events and 24 relay teams qualifying for the first rounds.
First Round Details
The NCAA first rounds will occur from May 28 to May 31, 2025, simultaneously for both the men’s and women’s categories.
The first round events will be hosted in:
- East Region: Jacksonville, Florida, hosted by the University of North Florida
- West Region: College Station, Texas, hosted by Texas A&M
