2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship: Complete Guide to Schedule, Viewing Options, and Qualifiers

The 2025 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship is set to take place from May 16 to May 21 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. This year’s competition features 72 teams and 36 individual participants who were selected by the committee on May 7, following the conclusion of the regional play.

In the selection process, teams consist of 12 competitors across six regional sites, each including six individual players who are not part of these teams. From each regional site, five teams and the top individual not affiliated with an advancing team will progress to the finals.

Schedule for the 2025 DI Women’s Golf Championship

  • Championship Dates: Friday, May 16 – Wednesday, May 21
  • Match Play Finals: DAY 6
  • Match Play Semifinals: DAY 5
    • Match 5: Winners of Match #1 and #2 at 4:15 p.m.
    • Match 6: Winners of Match #3 and #4 at 5:05 p.m.
  • Match Play Quarterfinals: DAY 5
    • Match 1: No. 1 Stanford vs. No. 8 Virginia (1st tee) at 9:50 a.m.
    • Match 2: No. 4 Florida State vs. No. 5 Southern California (10th tee) at 9:50 a.m.

History of the DI Women’s Golf Championship

In the previous year, Stanford emerged victorious over UCLA to secure the 2024 DI Women’s Golf National title. Furthermore, Adela Cernousek from Texas A&M made history as the first individual champion from the university.
